For Good Relationships with Yourself

You can write bad poetry, can you not? Why do so? Here are three reasons:

1. If you think it doesn’t have to rhyme or be any good, you will write a poem each time you are struck by awe, struck in the gut, struck in the heart for good or bad.

2. If you write some, you will read one of mine. (below) Then you will start a heartfelt relationship with me.

3. You will soon afterward discover what is really important to you in all your relationships.

Many people assume that poetry is hard to understand or boring. Some academic poems are boring because they are simply showing off erudition. But poems about momentous or weird little experiences that strike the poet are wonderful to hear. Some are better than monologues from well known stand-up comics.

Poetry likes a strong feeling.and the courage to express it with the power of that feeling. No holding back. Flat out condensation of the moment.

When you write bad poetry you feel gloriously alive. You improve all your relationships.

Eventually, you may re-write and turn your poems into some

The Reasons Why Most People Will Never Find Online Success

January 26th 2012 · Read More · Comments Off

Q: Tim, I have spent the past few months trying so hard to start an ecommerce business. I have read virtually everything you have written. I have listened in on more than one of your teleconferences.

I have clicked and spent and clicked and spent and clicked and spent. I filled the laundry basket and sold on eBay. I became a Clickbank affiliate (I think I am an affiliate of almost the entire Internet).

I know that it’s ironic that I want to make money on the Internet considering I have not one drop of technical skill in my body, but I am a single mom: bottom line is my kids NEED me… and I really and truly am relentless when it comes to getting what I want (in other words, what I lack in technical skills I make up for in persistence.)

Please, please, please…just give me one word or sign or anything…that this CAN be done by the little people (such as myself). Otherwise, I will return to my 5am job that exhausts me so much, I can’t even tell my children apart anymore (which isn’t flattering to a daughter and son who are almost 5 years

Why Interleague Play Is A Great Thing

January 26th 2012 · Read More · Comments Off

This past weekend was the first opportunity during the 2006 season for fans and teams alike to renew relatively young but sometimes heated rivalries between teams of different leagues. Its hard to believe, but this is already the 10th season of interleague play, and the argument for and against the scheduling of games between different leagues continues to rage. The purists who decry interleague play generally lean on a few standard points to make their case, and well examine some of these below.

Argument One: Interleague play creates scheduling inequity.

Baseball lovers everywhere claim that interleague draws that are logically eschewed somewhat based upon geographic considerations create an unfair advantage. For example, this past weekend, the Cardinals got to play the lowly Royals while the Cubs had to play the World Champion White Sox.

Although the numbers may somewhat support the notion that as a result of these scheduling considerations, the teams have unequal strength of schedules, the fact remains that we are talking about a very small number of games within a 162-game season. Not to mention, a championship-caliber team in any sport needs to measure up to any test thats presented. If the Cubs are going

Chocolate Is My Favorite Health Food

January 26th 2012 · Read More · Comments Off

Finally, the medical world has caught up with what the rest of us have known all the time, namely, chocolate.is good for us. And I for one think it is about time.

According to recent medical research, chocolate has marvelous benefits for the human body. Who in their right mind did not know this? As a subscriber to the Old England Journal of Homemade Cures and Potions, I have known for a very long time that the consumption of chocolate carries with it healthy advantages. For years, this journal carried many delicious articles touting the benefits of chocolate. And I have eaten it all up not to mention several boxes of chocolate.

This introduces me to a disturbing thought. Im grateful for the advancement of modern medicine and science but what I want to know is simply this: if the medical world was mistaken about chocolate, what else are they mistaken about? Could it be that my long-time suspicions about broccoli are right? Has the medical world, which boasted for years about the dietary benefit of broccoli, been wrong all these years?

With recent discoveries, I think this is a real possibility.

I have been saying for years that

Guitar Lessons Playing Harmonics

January 26th 2012 · Read More · Comments Off

A harmonic is a tone thats created by the guitar by touching the string above a fret on an open vibrating string. There are 2 types of harmonics Natural and Artificial or I prefer to call them pinch harmonics.

Natural Harmonics

Natural Harmonics can be produced by touching your index finger on your fret-hand above at the 5th, 7th or 12th fret. Just place your finger on the string above the fret, dont press to hard or you will mute the note, pluck the note and then pull your finger off. Try it on the A string.

B|————|
G|————|
D|————|
A|—-12——|
E|————|

Timing is critical when playing harmonics. The length of time you keep your finger on the string will determine if you hear a harmonic, muted sound or just a regular note. Natural harmonics occur in various locations along the fretboard. The most common ones are on the 5th, 7th, and 12th fret. The harmonics in those positions will ring for all 6 strings on the same fret. Try playing them in all 3 positions. Place your finger across all 6 strings and play from the Low E to the high E lifting your finger [...] Continue Reading…

High Search Rankings Means More Cash

January 26th 2012 · Read More · Comments Off

In the internet marketing business there are many different buzzwords that float around and around. Words like “targeted traffic” and “search engine optimization” and “affiliate income.” Most of them have a lot to do with the internet search engines, because after all if you can figure out how they operate than you have 99% of the game figured out. Basically if you are selling something than you need buyers, and the portal that the buyers come to your sales page through is almost without exception the search engines. The higher your site’s search rankings are the more people will come to your site and the more sales you will make.

Given the fact that most peoples pages are on a level playing field as far as desirability for the customer, it really is the search rankings that separate those who have to work another job because they are barely making enough to pay for hosting, and those who work very little and own several houses all over the world that they rotate through on a month to month basis. It’s simple math really, the higher the rank the more customers, the more customers the more sales, the

How to Create the Most Memorable Photo Christmas Cards Received by ALL

January 25th 2012 · Read More · Comments Off

Generic, store-bought, holiday greeting cards have served their purpose of sending a festive greeting to those we think about during this special time of year. Please note that the key word here is served- past tense is used, for such cards will probably be seen quite soon on a shelf in the Smithsonian under the title, Antique Holiday Greeting Cards, as photo holiday greeting cards are taking over.

Amazing advances in computers and photography have made it easier that ever to snap the ideal photo to represent your family to those on your holiday card mailing list. Digital cameras allow you to take the picture, view it, erase it and retake it within minutes, all before downloading it to your computer or printing it immediately through your printer.

Recent trends have changed from the traditional family photo with everyone dressed in their Sunday Best and set into a proper sort of pose into a more casual themed attire. A shot of everyone, including the dog, all wearing red, Santa-style hats and collarless red shirts create a more playful, everyday sort of look, showing the family as they typically are.

Each year, thousands upon thousands of would-be photo greeting card

Learn The Inside Scoop To Video Game Cheats, Reviews And Previews

January 25th 2012 · Read More · Comments Off

You know, nobody likes a cheater. But when it comes to discovering video game cheats, “cheating” isn’t what you’re doing. I prefer to think of it as “discovering shortcuts, tips and tricks,” or video game hints.

Video games have gotten so complex, since the days of Rubix Cubix and Donkey Kong, that the game authors have purposely thrown in some back doors and other shortcuts to aid the exhausted players. However there is a problem, most of these back doors are so well hidden that these same authors have to leak the game cheats or no one would ever find them on their own.

Video game cheat sheets, codes and game hints are sort of useless if you don’t own any video games. Well I’m sure if you have games you probably beat them fast with the aid of cheat sheets, but with online video game stores you can beat more and pay less!

Any web site worth visiting will not only have video game reviews and cheats for you to peruse, but they will also have game walkthroughs. Video game walkthroughs differ from cheats in that they actually “walk you through” the process of achieving some goal.

January 25th 2012 · Read More · Comments Off

Ok, im going to take a break from my usual rant about Internet marketing and instead, indulge in one of my passions… PSP! Below ive written a personal review on my favourite psp download site PSP Blender!

What is PSP Blender:

PSP Blender promises to provide you access to the largest PSP games and movies database. network on the planet. About 20 million files no less. Members are given access to all of the tools needed to locate and download any of PSP Blenders files. Does PSP Blender keep its promises? Lets find out shall we….?

So, Does PSP Blender Work?

One thing that worried me before trying PSP Blender was the download times. I mean, the files that I want are full-length films and complex games…these arent small files! I neednt have worried! The download times on my standard broadband connection were more than acceptable…fast even. The layout of the site can also be a concern. It doesnt matter how many millions of files a site has to offer if you can’t actually navigate your way through them to get to what you are searching for. Once again the worry was unfounded. The layout was clear
